This role is entirely remote, allowing therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a professional setting. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services through secure virtual platforms, ensuring a tailored approach that caters to the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals, offering continuous support and guidance as they progress through their treatment journey.
• Adapt a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and other modalities, according to clients’ preferences and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, treatment progress, and any changes in clients' mental health status, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

As a remote therapist with Sitka Counseling Services, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Our approach recognizes the individual stories and cultural backgrounds of clients, driving us to offer inclusive and culturally sensitive care.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building and therapeutic connections with clients in a virtual format.
• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding of clients’ experiences and mental health challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage remote therapy sessions and documentation efficiently.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in telehealth services or virtual therapy settings are preferred. Familiarity with digital health tools and platforms, as well as experience using evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, will be advantageous for prospective therapists.
