Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique mental health needs of each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through our secure virtual platform, ensuring confidentiality and a safe space for clients.
• Engage clients in establishing therapeutic goals and provide ongoing support, adapting approaches as necessary throughout the treatment process.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy, depending on client preferences and treatment objectives.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress, as required for compliance and quality assurance.

The clients you will support at Sitka Counseling Services encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and other mental health issues. Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients in a remote setting.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively oversee therapy sessions and documentation from home.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing virtual therapy and familiarity with telehealth platforms is preferred.
