Industry UsageMedia, marketing, entertainment, tech companiesMarketing agencies, media firms, corporate communications

Remote Digital Asset professionals focus on organizing, managing, and maintaining digital files and assets, ensuring easy access and proper usage. Remote Digital Content Specialists create, edit, and publish digital content for various platforms. While both roles involve digital work, assets management emphasizes organization and storage, whereas content specialists focus on content creation and distribution.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a remote digital asset manager?

To thrive as a Remote Digital Asset Manager, you need expertise in digital asset management (DAM) principles, file organization, metadata standards, and a background in information science or a related field. Familiarity with DAM software (like Bynder or Adobe Experience Manager), cloud storage solutions, and digital rights management tools is typically required. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills help you manage assets efficiently and collaborate across distributed teams. These skills ensure digital content is accurately stored, easily accessible, and securely managed, which is crucial for organizational productivity and brand consistency.

What is a remote digital asset?

Remote Digital Asset jobs involve managing, creating, organizing, or securing digital files and resources such as images, videos, documents, and cryptocurrencies from a remote location. These roles can include digital asset managers, digital archivists, NFT specialists, and blockchain analysts, among others. The main focus is to ensure that digital assets are easily accessible, properly cataloged, and safely stored or transferred online. Remote positions in this field allow professionals to work from anywhere while handling assets for organizations, marketing teams, or tech companies.

What are common challenges faced when managing digital assets remotely, and how can they be overcome?

One common challenge in a remote digital asset role is ensuring secure, organized, and efficient access to files across distributed teams. Miscommunication, version control issues, and inconsistent file naming are frequent hurdles. These can be overcome by using centralized digital asset management (DAM) platforms, establishing clear protocols, and maintaining regular communication with team members. Staying proactive about documentation and leveraging collaborative tools helps ensure assets remain accessible and up-to-date for everyone involved.

Our Mission

At Skilled Wound Care our mission is simple — to touch and improve as many patient lives as possible. Every role at SWC exists to support that mission. As our Web Master you will play a critical role in ensuring our digital presence reflects the excellence and professionalism of the organization we are building.

About the Role

MUST BE LOCATED IN LOS ANGELES, CA

What You Will Do

Website Development and Maintenance

  • Own the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Skilled Wound Care website and all associated digital properties
  • Develop, update, and optimize web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant CMS platforms
  • Ensure the website is fully functional, mobile-responsive, and consistently delivering an excellent user experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and technical errors quickly and effectively
  • Manage all website hosting, domain, and SSL certificate renewals
  • Implement and maintain website security protocols to protect company and patient-facing data
  • Perform regular website audits and updates to keep content current and accurate

Search Engine Optimization

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic search visibility for Skilled Wound Care
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research to identify opportunities in physician recruitment, wound care, and skilled nursing facility markets
  • Optimize all on-page SEO elements including meta titles, descriptions, headers, image alt text, and internal linking
  • Build and manage a backlink strategy to improve domain authority
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush or similar tools
  • Stay current on Google algorithm updates and adjust strategy accordingly

Digital Marketing Support

  • Build and maintain landing pages for physician recruitment campaigns, facility partnerships, and marketing initiatives
  • Integrate and manage web forms, lead capture tools, and CRM connections
  • Support email marketing campaigns by building and maintaining HTML email templates
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on paid digital advertising landing pages — Google Ads, LinkedIn, Indeed, and Doximity
  • Manage website integrations with third-party tools — ATS, CRM, analytics, and scheduling platforms
  • Implement and manage tracking pixels, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking

Performance and Analytics

  • Monitor website performance metrics daily — traffic, bounce rate, session duration, conversion rate, and page speed
  • Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for leadership
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve website speed, performance, and user experience
  • Conduct A/B testing on key pages to optimize conversion rates
  • Ensure the website meets WCAG accessibility standards

Content Management

  • Manage and update website content in collaboration with marketing and clinical teams
  • Upload blog posts, press releases, job listings, and clinical resources to the website
  • Ensure all content is formatted correctly, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized
  • Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice and visual identity across all web properties
  • Manage media assets — images, videos, and graphics — organized in a central digital asset library

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of web development or web master experience — required
