Job Title: Manager, Global Digital Accounts

Your role:

The Global Commercial Services team maximizes WMG revenue and market share, leading through best practices, platform expertise, and forward-thinking solutions that support our recorded music strategy. As a key member of the WMG YouTube team, you will spearhead revenue maximization by transforming actionable insights into high-impact growth opportunities. You will serve as a cross-functional partner and subject matter expert, leveraging data-driven storytelling to optimize account performance and amplify our global YouTube presence. This role offers a 360-degree view of the YouTube ecosystem, providing a unique opportunity to collaborate on elevating our artists and maximizing commercial success.

Here you'll get to:

  • Work directly with team leadership to deliver on annual goals and achievements and revenue optimization targets.

  • Drive cross-functional projects dedicated to identifying and accomplishing high-impact, revenue-generating opportunities across assigned accounts.

  • Provide strategic, data-driven insights to global teams and senior leadership to optimize account performance, improve campaign return on investment, and unlock new revenue streams.

  • Design and maintain performance dashboards to visualize and quantify the direct revenue impact of account initiatives and projects.

  • Conduct performance testing and ad-hoc data analysis to refine optimization strategies and accelerate revenue growth.

  • Act as a subject matter expert, educating internal collaborators, labels, and affiliates on YouTube guidelines and platform features that directly contribute to increased monetization.

  • Serve as the team's lead data resource, using Snowflake and Python to analyze metrics and generate revenue-focused reporting for projects and monthly business reviews.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving network-wide issues, ensuring operational consistency to protect and sustain revenue flow.

  • Manage commercial programs for assigned accounts, coordinating artist campaigns and partner relationships to drive incremental revenue growth and increase brand presence.

  • Manage day-to-day operational relationships with external third-party partners, ensuring alignment on strategies that support continued revenue growth and business needs.

About you:

  • Strong understanding of YouTube.

  • 3-5 years experience in data analytics, preferably in music, entertainment, or digital media.

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously.

  • Proven success in turning data into actionable business strategies.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, cross-functional environment.

  • Experience with Python and/or SQL.

  • Communication and storytelling skills-able to bridge the gap between data and creative teams.

  • Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of curiosity and problem-solving instincts.

  • Proficiency in Google productivity tools (e.g. Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.).

We'd love it if you also had:

  • Knowledge of the YouTube CMS.

  • Understanding of online video trends and practices.
