Overview

We are seeking a Senior Hogan Developer to join a high-impact application development and support team responsible for core banking systems. This role plays a critical part in enhancing, maintaining, and supporting highly interconnected systems that support customer account processing and enterprise-wide functions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Enhancement

  • Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements across Hogan-based systems
  • Build scalable solutions to improve processing capabilities and performance
  • Provide accurate estimates and contribute to implementation planning

System Analysis & Impact Assessment

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to determine scope and system impact
  • Evaluate upstream and downstream dependencies to ensure stability across interconnected systems
  • Review specifications, test plans, and implementation approaches for accuracy and quality

Production Support & Maintenance

  • Provide ongoing support for production systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Proactively identify maintenance needs and ensure system reliability for end users
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical systems

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as a senior technical resource to business partners, team members, and leadership
  • Support and mentor junior developers and analysts
  • Contribute to both project-based work and ongoing enhancement initiatives across multiple business units

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Hogan (required)
    • Prior experience with CIS (Customer Information System) and RPM (Relationship Pricing Management)
  • Experience with additional Hogan modules like IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, Umbrella
  • Understanding of down and upstream changes across platforms (change management)
  • Strong communication
  • Experience in enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in banking or financial services (preferred; insurance also considered)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
  • High-visibility role supporting multiple business units with significant system impact
