Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, deeply understanding their history and health status to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance client well-being.
• Maintain client information meticulously, ensuring all records are documented accurately while upholding strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to provide holistic and coordinate care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and recovery processes, empowering them to actively participate in their healing journeys.
• Regularly engage in professional development, refining your clinical skills and staying informed about the latest research and therapeutic practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and accompanying mental health issues. This population often faces significant challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression, which can complicate their recovery. By employing culturally competent and individualized approaches, you will ensure that every client receives the care and understanding they deserve, driving both recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, especially in settings involving mental health and substance use disorders.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust with clients and collaborate seamlessly with a diverse team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in remote or telehealth settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with treatment planning and case management processes specific to detox and rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
