Position Overview

Serenity Minds Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional mental health services. This full-time role provides an exciting opportunity to work within a detox center setting, where you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation journey of individuals navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and immediate needs related to their recovery process.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing established evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with established recovery goals and strategies, ensuring client engagement in their own care process.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team (including psychiatrists and psychologists) to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care prior to and during the detox process.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes to impart relevant coping strategies and support networks.
  • Administer crisis intervention techniques as needed, ensuring safety and risk assessment are prioritized in treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of treatment plans and client interactions, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Support clients transitioning out of detox by coordinating follow-up services and ensuring access to community resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Serenity Minds will focus on individuals experiencing substance use disorders alongside a variety of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. You will engage with diverse clients and their families, employing culturally competent practices and tailored interventions to meet their specific needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an outpatient or mental health setting, particularly focused on substance use or detox services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, strong assessment skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting, with a commitment to ethical and professional standards in social work practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a detox or rehabilitation center.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations concerning mental health and substance use treatment.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms to facilitate remote therapy sessions.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, the position offers:
