Senior SCCM Engineer/Architect

Our client is seeking a motivated senior SCCM engineer/architect with 7-10+ years of experience to join our team to implement and support key elements of the global endpoint management services for Windows computers. This individual will work in our global organization and will be responsible for tier 3 support for our endpoint environment, with in-depth knowledge of creating and deploying applications, patch management, operating system deployment, and hardware/software inventory efforts using SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune. This role is also responsible for leading the introduction of new and innovative technologies to help increase employee productivity and engagement.

Essential Skills
  • Strong experience with Modern management using SCCM and Intune (Cloud Management Gateway, Comanagement, hybrid Azure AD, Autopilot)
  • Expert with SCCM Current Branch in a high availability enterprise environment
  • Expert creating and deploying applications with SCCM
  • Expert creating task sequences in SCCM for Windows operating system deployment/imaging
  • Expert with Windows Servicing and WSUS/patch management/reporting
  • Full understanding of deploying Software Updates with SCCM
  • Experience troubleshooting SCCM issues using logs (both server and client)
  • Experience with designing and building SCCM infrastructure which includes capacity planning as well as the migration of content and assets
  • Experience supporting Windows client operating systems
  • Experience with scripting in an enterprise environment (e.g. PowerShell)
  • Experience creating and managing collections and deployments in SCCM
  • Experience with supporting SCCM infrastructure in on-prem and cloud environments
  • Experience with MBAM in SCCM and BitLocker policies and deployment
  • Understanding of setup/use/troubleshooting of "Maintenance Windows" in SCCM
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory Sites and Services, Group Policy, and all interrelated activities with SCCM
  • Working knowledge of securing communications in SCCM with server and client certificates
  • Working knowledge in remote desktop technology for remote support
Desirable Skills
  • Experience creating custom reports within SCCM
  • Experience with 1E Nomad, Microsoft Delivery Optimization, or other content distribution technology
  • Experience with a large remote user population using zero trust technology (e.g. Zscaler Private Access)
  • Good grasp of IT security principals e.g. endpoint hardening, data security, user security
  • Knowledge of networking technologies e.g. TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet, Wi-Fi (802.1x)
