Job description

At Imply, our mission is to empower people and organizations to achieve more with their data. We believe that better insights lead to better decisions, and that the right technology can remove barriers, spark innovation and create lasting impact. In addition to our successful database business, we're building the industry's first observability warehouse, Imply Lumi. Built by the creators of Apache Druid, Lumi lets organizations store more data, support more use cases and spend less for observability. Imply Lumi is a high-performance, cost-efficient data layer built to decouple existing observability tools with zero disruption.
Backed by leading investors including a16z and Bessemer Venture Partners, Imply is on a fast growth trajectory, transforming how organizations manage and gain insights from their observability and security data. Our customers, including Pepsi, Reddit, Roblox, Salesforce, and others, rely on our technology to power faster decisions, reduce costs, and unlock new possibilities. Come join a team of innovators and problem-solvers who are reshaping the future of data!
The Role:
We're looking for a Demand Generation Manager who knows how to build pipeline and has the strategic and creative chops to do it well. You'll own campaign strategy and execution from end to end-planning, building, launching, and optimizing programs that drive qualified pipeline. You'll work closely with sales, product marketing, and our agency partners, and you'll bring your own ideas and judgment to every program you run.
This role is a great fit if you're a builder who's energized by full-funnel ownership, comfortable with ambiguity, and confident making decisions with imperfect information.
Responsibilities:
Demand Generation
  • Own campaign planning and execution-paid, email, content syndication, webinars, and more-in partnership with our agency
  • Build and optimize nurture programs and conversion funnels across the full buyer journey
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance; translate data into clear recommendations and next steps
  • Partner with Sales Ops to improve lead scoring, routing, and funnel conversion
  • Work closely with sales to ensure tight campaign-to-followup loops and feedback cycles
  • Use available tools-including AI where it helps-to work efficiently without losing the strategic thinking that makes campaigns actually work

Product & Content Support
  • Translate product positioning into campaign messaging that resonates with technical and business buyers
  • Collaborate on go-to-market assets (landing pages, emails, one-pagers) to support campaign launches
  • Conduct market and competitive research to keep campaigns sharp and differentiated

Requirements:
  • 5+ years in demand generation or growth marketing at a B2B SaaS company, with a clear track record of pipeline impact
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and campaign tooling-our stack includes Marketo, Rich, CommonRoom, and Gong
  • Strong understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, including ABM principles and lead scoring
  • Original thinker who brings their own ideas to campaign strategy, not just executes a playbook
  • Comfortable using modern tools-including AI-to improve efficiency, while keeping your own judgment at the center of the work
  • Excellent written communication skills-you can write sharp copy and clear performance summaries
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment; you know how to prioritize and get things done
  • Strong collaborator who can work across sales, product, and agency partners without needing a lot of hand-holding

Bonus Points:
  • Experience in data infrastructure, cloud databases, or developer-focused products
  • You've marketed to technical buyers (engineers, data architects, platform teams)
  • Experience building or improving marketing workflows that scaled your output without scaling headcount

What we offer:
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits (employee premiums 100% paid by Imply)
  • Fertility Coverage - Integrated with our medical insurance
  • Dependent Care FSA
  • Mental Health Support via Betterhelp
  • Life and AD&D Insurance
  • 401(k) Program
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off - USA Only
  • Wellness Stipend
  • Home Office Equipment Reimbursement
  • Pre-Tax Commuter Benefits
  • Pet Insurance

Individual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications aligned with Imply's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks. The below range encompasses roles with on target earnings. This role is also eligible to participate in Imply's equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
Compensation: $100,000-$135,000
Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that certain minority groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every qualification. At Imply, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace. If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or for other roles in the future.
