MCA Settlement Specialist / Debt Relief Sales Rep (Warm + Cold)

MCA Clarity

New York, NY • Remote

Full-time

Job description

Company: MCA Clarity

Location: Hybrid - NYC and Remote

Compensation: Base + commission after 30 day probation | Avg total comp $120K base + commissions | Uncapped

About Us

MCA Clarity helps small business owners who are drowning in merchant cash advance (MCA) debt. Many of our clients took on high-cost advances with brutal daily or weekly payments and now need a way out. We negotiate and restructure MCA debt so owners can breathe again and keep their businesses alive. We're growing fast and need closers who can connect with stressed business owners and show them there's a path forward.

The Role

You'll be on the phone all day talking to business owners about their MCA debt — a mix of warm inbound/marketing leads and cold outreach. Your job is to qualify the lead, understand their situation, and determine whether MCA debt settlement is the right fit. You'll build trust quickly, handle objections, and move qualified prospects toward enrolling in our program.

What You'll Do

  • Call warm leads generated from marketing, plus cold-call business owners who may be carrying MCA debt
  • Qualify prospects: how many advances they have, balances, daily/weekly payment burden, and financial hardship
  • Explain how MCA settlement works and how MCA Clarity can reduce their payments and total debt
  • Handle objections with empathy and confidence
  • Follow up consistently and keep the pipeline moving
  • Log all activity accurately in the CRM
  • Hit and exceed daily call, talk-time, and enrollment targets

What We're Looking For

  • Phone sales experience — MCA, debt settlement, merchant services, financial services, or high-volume cold calling strongly preferred
  • Comfortable and effective on cold calls; you don't get rattled by rejection
  • Strong closer with excellent objection-handling skills
  • Ability to connect with stressed business owners and build trust fast
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and money-driven
  • Reliable, coachable, and consistent
  • CRM/dialer experience a plus

Compensation & Growth

We built this comp plan to reward closers and keep raising the ceiling as you produce:

  • First 30 days (probationary): Commission-only at 20% of cash collected — prove you can close and start earning from day one. Client fees start at a $5,000 minimum plus 15% of negotiated savings, so even early deals pay well.
  • After probation: Move to a $36,000 base salary plus 10% commission on cash collected.
  • Built-in raises: Your base ratchets up $10,000/year for every 3 deals you close — the more you produce, the higher your floor goes.
  • Real earning power: Average rep lands around $120K base plus commissions, and there's no cap on top of that.

Your income grows directly with your performance — and once you climb, that higher base is yours to keep.
