About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic data-driven Contractor to join our North America Marketing team supporting the Finance & Spend Management LoB. In this role, you will be a key driver of demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and revenue growth - working at the intersection of marketing strategy and field execution. In this role, you will be responsible for tactical execution of marketing plan activities; data-driven marketing, inside marketing, direct and digital marketing, online events, physical events, and more.

What You'll Do

Strategic Marketing and Sales Execution - Develop and maintain a strong partnership with F&SM sales and marketing to execute against an appropriate solution portfolio mix to address the business needs of our customers/prospective-customers. Serve as one of the primary faces of marketing to the F&SM LoBs, representing marketing's value to internal and external stakeholders.


You will be tasked to:

  • Build and execute marketing plans that address all pipeline stages, including demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and close activities to achieve marketing KPIs of MINO, MSO and MAEO
  • Meet marketing and sales goals and objectives of the teams by leveraging best in class marketing tactics
  • Drive locally relevant, nationally supportive F&SM solution campaigns and events across North America
  • Ensure brand consistency, quality, and compliance across all demand generation activities
  • A considerable portion of time is devoted to third-party and SAP-hosted events. Success demands advanced project management skills to manage the end-to-end event architecture: from pre-event planning and sponsor relations through post-event analysis and lead routing, including speaker coordination, stakeholder alignment, field communication and enablement, vendor management, ICP-targeted asset creation, and comprehensive reporting. 


Data-Driven Marketing

  • Understand health of the demand funnel and determine what actions need to occur to address challenges (e.g. lead generation, pipeline acceleration, improved conversions) to achieve marketing KPIs of MINO, MSO and MAEO
  • Embrace a data-driven approach to transform data into actionable insights that drive results
  • Document and manage campaign execution and lead management activities in CRM systems, reports, dashboards, and scorecards
  • Continuously analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and share findings with relevant stakeholders


Lead Management

  • Leverage self-service and ad hoc reporting to access relevant sales and marketing performance data
  • Develop a strong understanding of internal lead management systems to improve lead quality, development, and flow throughout the customer buying cycle
  • Proactively review pipeline health reports and manage escalations to ensure alignment across sales and marketing stakeholders


Field Enablement

  • Build strong relationships with marketing, sales, and partner stakeholders to ensure effective rollout of marketing activities
  • Adapt rollout plans, target audiences, and communication channels as needed to optimize market impact
  • Proactively communicate marketing effectiveness to sales teams and provide feedback to fellow marketers to continuously improve performance  


Agency Management

  • Identify, engage, and manage suitable agencies for respective projects, including budget and cost oversight
  • Recommend preferred agencies and initiate vendor agreements to optimize marketing investments
  • Process SOWs, PO requests and relation justification forms 


What We're Looking For

  • Ideally 5+ years of marketing experience, with minimum 2 years in marketing execution
  • Experience in high tech industry, B2B Marketing
  • Experience working in a multinational company or matrixed organization
  • Recent regional and/or global field marketing experience
  • Background spanning multiple Lines of Business and/or Product Lines
  • Strong project management skills (small to medium-scale projects)
  • Sales experience - a plus
