Job description

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses to administer immunizations in a retail healthcare setting. This is a patient-facing role focused on delivering high-quality vaccination services, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.


Position: In-Store Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Onsite | Seasonal | 150 South Main Street Fort Bragg, CA
Schedule: Mon-Fri 2pm-6pm (have to work 20+ hours per week within those hours of operation)
Start Date: August 23-November 31



Key Responsibilities

  • Administer vaccines including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other immunizations in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
  • Safely administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Provide patient education regarding vaccines, immunizations, and post-vaccination care.
  • Professionally interact with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of immunizations and patient encounters.
  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
  • Adapt to changing patient volumes and daily operational needs.
  • Support a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where you will be working.
  • Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience, including immunizations and direct patient care.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
  • Strong medication administration skills.
  • Ability and willingness to administer all required vaccines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED (verifiable).
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience administering a high volume of immunizations.
  • Experience in retail, community health, urgent care, or outpatient clinical settings.
  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining quality patient care.
