• Conduct thorough assessments and provide tailored individual, couples, family, or group therapy sessions to address an array of mental, emotional, and behavioral issues.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities custom-fit to the needs and goals of clients, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy.
• Assist clients in developing effective coping strategies, enhancing self-awareness, and fostering skills that promote healthier interactions and emotional responses in daily life.
• Maintain a meticulous record of patient interactions, ensuring the timely documentation of treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Provide informed decision support to clients, discussing various treatment options and empowering them to take charge of their mental health journey.
• Encourage open communication with clients, creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing and growth.

At Inner Peace Psychotherapy, you will work with a diverse patient population including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and experiences, allowing for a rich engagement that can enhance your practice as you help them navigate their therapeutic journey towards recovery and improved mental wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience delivering mental health therapy.
• Strong ethical integrity with a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks governing mental health practices; adherence to confidentiality policies is paramount.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues alike.

While a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is necessary, candidates with advanced familiarity in working with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or bilingual (Spanish or other languages) capabilities are encouraged to apply as these skills can significantly enhance our client services.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
