Remote CRM Salesforce jobs involve working with Salesforce, a leading customer relationship management (CRM) platform, from a location outside of a traditional office setting. Professionals in these roles may include administrators, developers, consultants, or analysts who help organizations implement, customize, and manage Salesforce solutions to improve business processes and customer interactions. Remote roles offer flexibility, allowing employees to collaborate with teams and clients virtually while leveraging cloud-based tools and technologies. These positions require strong technical skills in Salesforce and often demand good communication and problem-solving abilities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote CRM Salesforce professional?

To thrive as a Remote CRM Salesforce professional, you need expertise in Salesforce administration or development, knowledge of CRM best practices, and relevant certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Developer. Familiarity with Salesforce tools (like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning), data integration platforms, and basic coding languages (Apex, SOQL) is typically required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and self-management skills are vital for remote collaboration and client support. These competencies ensure efficient CRM customization, seamless user adoption, and successful project delivery in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain CRM data quality through audits, cleanup, and ongoing governance.
  • Take ownership of CRM projects and initiatives from planning through completion.
  • Investigate and resolve data and system issues independently, escalating when appropriate.
  • Provide day-to-day CRM support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users.
  • Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and best practices.
  • Support data imports, exports, migrations, and reporting.
  • Partner with marketing, business development, and operations teams to improve CRM processes and user adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate manual processes, and enhance the user experience.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting a CRM platform (Deltek Vantagepoint, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive work forward with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience supporting, training, and building relationships with end users.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experience in the AEC industry and Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred but not required.

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
