UE IT CRM (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Student Assistant

Classification Range $16.90 - $24.00 per hour
Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $16.90 per hour.

Up to 20 hours per week during business hours (Mondays through Fridays; 8am to 5pm)

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, Student Assistants perform duties ranging from unskilled to skilled and/or specialized, in a variety of positions that typically require the use of manual, clerical, public contact, and/or analytical skill. Assignments have limited use of discretion and judgment. Work is regularly reviewed and may entail detailed instructions. Specific job duties are defined by the appropriate campus department.

- Assist with validating and building data (extensions).
- Assist staff with building and validating email templates, content, assets, and email journeys.
- Assist with QA to ensure accurate links, images, subject lines, and segmentation lists.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

- Knowledge of HTML
- Customer Service Experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to successfully work with a diverse group of people
- Excellent computer skills
- Must be able to maintain composure under pressure as well as a positive, friendly attitude

Required Qualifications

• Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
• Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
• In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
• Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.

Background Check

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for this position. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
