The Retreat Behavioral Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team in Atlanta, Georgia. • Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans for clients dealing with various mental health issues, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique situations.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and screening tools to evaluate clients' needs and develop effective intervention strategies tailored to each case.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by regulatory standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance and accountability.
• Facilitate crisis intervention through the development of crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and positive behavior support plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of care and practice within the organization.
• Serve as a liaison with state agencies, community partners, and service systems, working to foster relationships that enhance our clients' access to resources and support.
• Advocate for the needs of clients within the community, promoting positive outcomes by engaging in outreach to develop new partnerships and funding opportunities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending workshops and conferences, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Support the mission of the Retreat Behavioral Counseling Center by embodying our values, promoting wellness, and helping to implement strategies that better our community.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational goals and initiatives.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our community health clinic, you will work primarily with a diverse population struggling with mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders. Your role will involve providing compassionate support and practical solutions to empower clients in their journeys toward recovery and well-being.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• A current state license in good standing with the State License Board, confirming your qualification to practice as an LCSW.
• A minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience, equipping you with the skills to handle complex cases effectively.

• Previous experience working in a community health or mental health setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and establish effective communication with clients and support systems.
