• Provide direct clinical services, including assessments, individual and group therapy, focusing on clients with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to set and advance common goals, emphasizing a cooperative work approach.
• Culturally and respectfully engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, recognizing and appreciating their unique traditions and beliefs.
• Uphold the ethical guidelines and standards of conduct outlined by the organization, ensuring all engagements are conducted in a professional manner.
• Develop individualized care plans that integrate treatment services with a focus on choice and empowerment, while ensuring access to necessary linked services.
• Coordinate crisis intervention strategies and respond to crisis situations effectively and sensitively.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, overseeing client treatment processes from assessment to discharge.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, meeting reporting requirements set forth by the organization.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of services and overall client experience.

The LCSW will work extensively with individuals and families experiencing acute mental health challenges, specifically within the context of underserved communities in Elk Grove, California. The successful candidate must actively support and advocate for their clients, ensuring they receive tailored care that meets their specific needs and fosters their recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required, alongside an active LCSW license in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional clinical experience working with diverse populations in mental health settings is essential.
• Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment practices, including risk assessment and crisis management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are crucial for effective client interactions and team collaboration.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Competency in addressing age-related and specialty developmental needs appropriate for the client demographics served.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, allowing for more effective communication with a broader client base.
• Experience in community health or similar settings, particularly in underserved areas.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, enhancing the efficiency of patient care and data management.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
