Upstart's Growth Marketing team drives scalable, data-informed customer acquisition and engagement across our lending products. The team focuses on connecting consumers to credit through thoughtful, well-timed interactions across channels.

As the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Emerging Products) at Upstart, you will own and scale lifecycle marketing for new and growing products, including Cash Line, Upstart's new, always-on line of credit product. You will design and optimize end-to-end customer journeys-from cross-sell and activation through retention, re-engagement, and winback-within a mobile-first experience. You may also be called on to support additional emerging products as they launch and scale.

How you'll make an impact

  • Own lifecycle strategy and execution across the full customer journey, including cross-sell, activation, retention, re-engagement, and churn winback
  • Drive growth for Cash Line through mobile-first lifecycle programs, leveraging push notifications, in-app messaging, email, and SMS
  • Design and optimize multi-channel journeys that improve key metrics such as conversion, engagement, retention, and revenue
  • Define detailed campaign requirements, including audience segmentation, trigger logic, and channel orchestration, in partnership with Product and Engineering
  • Build and execute a hypothesis-driven experimentation roadmap across lifecycle stages, and translate results into actionable insights
  • Analyze performance across campaigns and lifecycle stages, and communicate results through regular reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with clear insights and next-step recommendations
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and Creative to improve the end-to-end customer experience
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards to measure lifecycle performance and inform prioritization
  • Support lifecycle strategy and execution for additional emerging products as they are introduced

  • Proficiency in data analysis using spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Model

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing lifecycle marketing across multiple stages of the customer journey (e.g., acquisition, activation, retention, winback)
  • Experience designing lifecycle strategies for mobile app experiences, including push notifications and in-app messaging
  • Knowledge of customer data platforms (CDPs) and event-driven marketing systems, we use Hightouch
