Job description

School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Portland, OR
Model: Part-Time ~ 0.4 FTE / 16 hours per week | Onsite
School Year: 2026–2027

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is looking for dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. We partner with school districts across the country, providing school-based opportunities for Occupational Therapists in a variety of settings. Whether you're looking for a full-time, part-time, on-site, hybrid, or remote role, we have options that will fit your needs!

We area creative and innovative team, and we'd love for you to join us in providing essential services to students across the country. From our leadership team to the clinicians, we work together to support each other, make an impact, and create a work environment that fosters collaboration and success.

What You'll Be Doing*:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' ability to access and succeed in their educational environments.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups, aligned with their IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications, accommodations, and interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and documentation of student progress.
  • Educate and support staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover of therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, treatment sessions, and communications.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, tools, and techniques in school-based OT.

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state where services will be provided.
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
  • Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet students' individual needs in dynamic school environments.
  • Someone who values collaboration and student-centered services.
