This role is designed to keep marketing closely connected to the sales process by creating practical tools, customer-facing materials, targeted messaging, trade show support, and follow-up resources that help move opportunities forward.This is not a traditional marketing role focused only on brand awareness or campaigns. The right candidate will enjoy working directly with salespeople, technical experts, and company leadership to turn our products, services, and capabilities into clear, useful, and professional materials that support real customer conversations.The Commercial Marketing Manager will support active sales opportunities while also helping build a stronger long-term marketing platform for the company. The ideal candidate is practical, creative, organized, and commercially minded, with the ability to balance urgent sales support with planned marketing projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Customer SupportCreate customer-facing presentations, one-page summaries, sell sheets, product materials, case studies, and proposal support documents. Help salespeople prepare for customer meetings, product discussions, trade shows, and prospect follow-ups. Develop clear messaging that connects customer problems to our products, services, and technical capabilities. Assist with follow-up materials after customer meetings, product trials, and trade show conversations. Help explain product value, application fit, technical benefits, and company differentiation in a clear and professional way. Commercial Marketing MaterialsDevelop and maintain practical marketing and sales materials that support customer conversations and revenue growth. Translate technical and operational information into clear, customer-friendly content. Work with sales and technical teams to capture success stories, customer pain points, trial results, and real-world applications. Organize marketing and sales collateral so the sales team can easily find and use current materials. Ensure materials are accurate, professional, useful, and aligned with company messaging. Division and Market SupportSupport marketing needs across multiple business segments. ns. Create division-specific materials that support sales priorities and growth opportunities. Help develop targeted outreach and follow-up materials for priority prospects and customer segments. Support trade show preparation, booth messaging, customer handouts, talking points, and post-event follow-up. Help evaluate whether marketing activities and events are generating useful customer conversations and sales activity. HubSpot and Marketing Follow-UpAssist with HubSpot contact segmentation, campaign lists, sales follow-up sequences, and customer communication tracking. Help organize marketing content and sales materials for use within HubSpot. Support simple campaigns tied to trade shows, product categories, customer segments, or sales priorities. Help improve visibility and consistency around customer follow-up activity. Long-Term Marketing DevelopmentSupport website content, email campaigns, digital presence, and industry awareness efforts. Help improve company and division-level messaging. Help identify customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities. Help develop a stronger marketing foundation to support future growth. QualificationsExperience in B2B marketing, commercial marketing, sales support, business development support, or a related role. Strong writing, communication, and presentation-development skills. Ability to create clear, professional customer-facing materials. Comfortable working directly with salespeople, technical subject-matter experts, and company leadership. Ability to translate technical information into practical customer benefits. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to balance urgent sales requests with planned marketing projects. Experience with CRM systems; HubSpot experience preferred. Experience in food ingredients, manufacturing, technical products, or B2B sales is helpful but not required.
