This role is a remote position, with the flexibility to meet students wherever they are while efficiently leveraging technology to facilitate therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate students' mental health concerns, identifying their unique needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Create and implement individualized treatment strategies that incorporate evidence-based practices, assisting students in achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional well-being and resilience, utilizing creative approaches suited for school-age populations.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and social workers, to ensure the comprehensive and integrated care of students.
• Provide consistent support and education to students and their families, emphasizing the importance of involvement in the recovery process and fostering a deeper understanding of mental health.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest level of professionalism in documentation.

In this role, you will work primarily with students in school settings who may face challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues and learning disabilities. By focusing on early intervention and support, you can help students develop coping strategies and establish a positive school experience, which is pivotal in their overall development.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. A Master's or Doctorate in a relevant field is preferred.
• Demonstrable specialized training or substantial experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices tailored to address a range of mental health disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and other professionals.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health counseling, preferably within a school-based or educational setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing successful group therapy initiatives.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and platforms commonly used in remote counseling.
