As a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Secretary, you will play an important role in helping attorneys provide outstanding legal representation and exceptional client service.
Your responsibilities may include:
Client Service-
Professionally greet clients and visitors.

Answer incoming telephone calls and accurately relay messages.

Schedule appointments and assist with client communications.

Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.

Help ensure every client receives exceptional service throughout their case.

Prepare, draft, and proofread pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.

Prepare documents for filing with courts and other agencies.
-
Maintain organized electronic and physical client files.
-
Calendar hearings, deadlines, meetings, and appointments.

Assist attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, and other litigation support.

Perform electronic filing with courts.

Organize files and legal documents.

Process incoming and outgoing mail.

Scan, copy, and distribute documents.

Perform general administrative duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

Enter billable time into the firm's timekeeping software on the same day work is performed.

Utilize Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and the firm's case management software.

Successful candidates will possess:

Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, legal secretary, or in a law firm is preferred, but not required. We are willing to hire individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, professionalism, and a strong desire to build a successful career in the legal profession.

Family law or litigation experience is preferred, but not required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
