Accessible Care Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. You will engage with clients through private teletherapy sessions, utilizing secure online platforms to maintain confidentiality and provide a welcoming environment for therapy. Our team utilizes modern technology to enhance the therapeutic experience, making mental health services more convenient and accessible to those who may have difficulty visiting traditional office settings.

• Conduct in-depth evaluations and assessments of clients' mental health challenges, ensuring comprehensive understanding and effective treatment planning.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using personalized techniques tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
• Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients and monitor progress to ensure optimal outcomes and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans to uphold ethical standards and improve care coordination.
• Participate in team meetings, peer supervision, and professional development workshops to enhance clinical skills and collaborate on best practices.
• Provide teletherapy solutions to clients who may have mobility challenges or prefer remote sessions, ensuring accessibility to mental health support.

Our client base includes individuals, couples, families, and youth from diverse backgrounds seeking support for a multitude of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and addiction. We are particularly focused on providing sensitive and inclusive care to clients of color and the LGBTQIA community, fostering a safe space for all individuals to explore their mental health.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A valid and current LMFT license issued by the state of Virginia.
• At least two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or telehealth environment.
• Specialized experience in working with couples and families, as well as familiarity with issues pertinent to children and teens.

• Experience providing therapy within a telehealth setting to enhance the adaptability to remote clinical work.
• Proficiency in culturally competent care, particularly for clients from diverse racial, ethnic, and sexual orientation backgrounds.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
