Our outpatient facility utilizes telehealth technologies to ensure that therapy sessions are secure and accessible to all clients, enabling you to reach individuals living in various geographic locations.

• Conduct secure and confidential virtual therapy sessions utilizing telehealth platforms, ensuring client comfort and privacy.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to gauge clients' relational dynamics, mental health issues, and family contexts, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Apply family systems theory and systemic interventions to tackle relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and family stressors effectively.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and their families.
• Maintain meticulous electronic client records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Educate clients on communication techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and coping mechanisms to enhance relational dynamics.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive and cohesive client care.
• Stay current with research and best practices in marriage and family therapy through ongoing professional development opportunities.

Your clients will encompass a broad spectrum of individuals, couples, and families facing various emotional and relational challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, understanding their specific needs, and providing culturally competent care to help them navigate life transitions, relationship conflicts, and family dynamics.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.
• Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in family therapy or a closely related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients in a remote setting.
• A firm commitment to maintaining ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients across various time zones.

• Previous experience providing remote therapy services is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Understanding of telehealth technologies and best practices in remote therapy.
• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities relevant to family systems.
