Remote Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW)
Location: Virginia
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $100,000-$110,000 per year + comprehensive benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a Virginia-licensed LMFT, LPC, or LCSW to provide professional mental health services through telehealth. This position is centered on direct client care, with responsibility for conducting therapy, assessing client needs, establishing treatment goals, and maintaining appropriate clinical records. The role offers a consistent weekday schedule and a remote work environment for clinicians who are confident managing their caseload while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
Primary Functions
  • Conduct scheduled individual therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete clinical intakes and assessments
  • Establish appropriate treatment goals and care plans
  • Apply therapeutic interventions based on client presentation and clinical judgment
  • Evaluate treatment progress and modify care when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in case consultation and care coordination as needed
  • Address safety concerns according to established clinical procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with Virginia licensing and telehealth requirements

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Active, independent licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
  • Proven experience in therapy delivery and crafting individualized treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering trust and engagement in virtual settings.
