• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand patients' mental health needs and establish effective treatment plans tailored to individual requirements.
• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions and immediate crisis intervention services, helping patients navigate a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and workshops that focus on personal development, relationship building, and coping strategies for various life stressors.
• Collaborate effectively with medical teams and community organizations to create integrated care plans that address both mental health and medical needs.
• Engage in proactive outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness, encourage preventative measures, and foster an inclusive community environment.
• Maintain meticulously accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards, while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

• Possession of an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required, while a Master's or Doctoral degree will enhance your candidacy.
• Proven understanding of mental health issues, particularly as they relate to individuals seeking care in community health settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of effectively engaging with patients and collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and brief therapy techniques suited for a community health clinic environment.
• Ability to manage a varied case load and work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Experience working within community health clinics or hospital counseling settings, adapting counseling techniques to the unique challenges of each environment.
• Demonstrated involvement in outreach, education, or advocacy efforts that promote mental health across diverse populations.
• Knowledge of telehealth platforms and experience in conducting remote counseling sessions are advantageous, given the remote work structure of this role.
