In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments, establishing accurate diagnoses based on evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s specific needs and goals.
• Manage an active caseload of 25 to 30 client visits per week, maintaining strong documentation, treatment notes, and progress updates per organizational policies.
• Utilize telehealth technology to provide therapy services, ensuring that clients receive the support needed to improve their mental health.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, employing a warm and engaging demeanor with clients at all times.
• Collaborate with case managers, medical personnel, and community resources to create a holistic care approach that addresses all aspects of each client’s life.
• Apply innovative therapeutic interventions, utilizing creative modalities to inspire and motivate clients toward achieving their therapeutic goals.

You will primarily work with individuals and families facing complex challenges often exacerbated by systemic issues. Our clientele includes adults in correctional settings, adolescents, and families experiencing conflict due to mental health disorders, addiction, and relationship challenges. You will employ a culturally competent approach, engaging a diverse group of clients from varying socioeconomic backgrounds and life experiences, ensuring each individual feels heard and understood.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate treatment plans and document client progress effectively.
• The ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients, modeling stability and professionalism at all times.

While specific experience varies, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:

• Familiarity with community resources relevant to family therapy and mental health care.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families in therapeutic settings.
• Competence in completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes to meet documentation requirements.
• Comfort with billing processes and fee collection practices.
