Are you a tax professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, staying ahead of changing regulations, and making a meaningful impact? Join our growing hospitality organization as a Sales Tax Analyst and become an essential member of our corporate finance team.

In this role, you'll help ensure compliance across our expanding portfolio by managing multi-state sales tax responsibilities, researching tax regulations, and partnering with internal teams to provide exceptional support. What You'll Do

  • Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns accurately and on time, while tracking filing requirements, deadlines, and regulatory changes.
  • Research, interpret, and apply state and local sales tax laws using tax research platforms and government resources.
  • Analyze complex tax issues and develop practical, compliant solutions.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and recommend process improvements to maintain compliance.
  • Provide outstanding internal client service by responding to tax-related questions and supporting business operations.
  • Utilize financial spreadsheets and accounting software to reconcile tax data and prepare reporting.
  • Research and respond to tax notices and assist with audit inquiries and correspondence.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Four or more years of experience in sales and use tax or a related tax/accounting role.
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, financial spreadsheets, and accounting software.
  • Experience responding to tax notices and working with auditors is a plus.
