Job description

A high-end, West Coast-based boutique law firm is seeking a New York-based Corporate M&A Associate with 6–8 years of mergers and acquisitions experience to support sophisticated transactional work as the firm expands in the New York market.

This role is remote for now and well-suited for a law-firm-trained corporate associate who wants meaningful M&A responsibility, direct interaction with clients and opposing counsel, and a flexible professional environment.

Highlights

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and revise stock and asset purchase agreements, ancillary acquisition documents, employment agreements, NDAs, LLC agreements, stockholder agreements, and corporate governance documents. Coordinate with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel to help keep transactions moving and deadlines on track.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have 6+ years of M&A experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work directly with clients and opposing counsel. New York bar admission is required.
