• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to diagnose mental health conditions using standard tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement interventions that promote mental health, symptom management, and overall patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records and clinical information, conforming to compliance regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members to establish comprehensive care plans that address treatment goals and desired outcomes.
• Coordinate referrals and act as a bridge between patients and other treatment providers to ensure seamless care transitions and support.
• Mentor and provide educational guidance to interns and volunteers, contributing to their professional development within the mental health field.

This role provides critical support to individuals and families dealing with the emotional and psychological challenges resulting from cancer diagnoses. • A Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Active and unrestricted State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
