Job description

This is a remote, field-based position and can be located in Ohio, Michigan, or Indiana.
Reporting to a Sales Director, you will manage regional convenience chains and distributors across Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. You will maximize sales through advanced business planning, forecasting, analytics, and category management expertise. You will build relationships with customer partners and collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to achieve sales goals. You will manage customer business plans, resolve customer issues, and prepare sales and financial reporting to deliver volume, profit, and share growth.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • Negotiate slotting agreements and terms of trade activities with customers.
  • Create and present customer business reviews.
  • Secure customer approval for in-store activation programs, including instant redeemable coupons, tear pads, and signage.
  • Maintain merchandising grids and distribution tracking.
  • Address retail pricing issues and resolve routine supply and service challenges.
  • Secure orders for display racks and merchandising opportunities.
  • Communicate policy changes, discontinued items, pricing actions, recalls, and product quality concerns to customers.
  • Manage customer and consumer complaints.
  • Use product, category, customer, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and develop selling presentations.
  • Lead new product launches and expand distribution across assigned accounts.
  • Manage our full Conagra portfolio within your assigned customers.
  • Conduct sales analytics and provide recommendations that support customer and company objectives.
  • Develop annual business plans and achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Align customer strategies with company objectives to build collaborative business plans.
  • Monitor trade activity execution, evaluate business risks and opportunities, and analyze customer-specific and syndicated reports.
  • Partner across a matrix organization to communicate priorities, support retail execution, and align with internal stakeholders.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of related industry experience, including 1+ years in a broker, sales analyst, or similar customer-facing sales role.
  • Experience negotiating customer agreements and managing business relationships.
  • Experience with customer P&L management and trade spending.
  • Strong business analytics, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience working within a matrix organization and partnering with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience using category, shopper, and consumer insights to drive business decisions.

Compensation

Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
