Job description

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing JISULIFE’s U.S. Sales Strategy, leading retailer and distributor engagement, and building alignment with Marketing and Product Management for successful localization. This role is pivotal in shaping our U.S. go-to-market approach, building the local sales team, and driving revenue growth in North America.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement the U.S. sales strategy aligned with global growth objectives.
  • Lead annual business planning, sales forecasting, and retail strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities across mass retail, e-commerce, distributors, and specialty channels.

- Account & Channel Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with key U.S. retailers (e.g., Target, Costco, Best Buy, Walmart).
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing, trade terms, and promotional planning.
  • Support account managers and reps, ensuring consistent execution across channels.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure localized brand positioning, shopper insights, and promotional activities.
  • Partner with Product Management to provide U.S. consumer insights and retailer feedback into product development.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in consumer electronics, small appliances, or FMCG.
  • Proven track record in managing large U.S. retailers (Target, Costco, Best Buy, Walmart)
  • Strong understanding of U.S. retail operations: line review cycles, promotions, trade marketing, co-op advertising.
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally monitor and corporate business partners overseas
  • Strong sense of observing the changes in the industry, product details, and market trend
  • Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills
  • Experience in building and leading local teams.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, cross-cultural environment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Preferred:

  • A solid understanding of the Mass and Electric industry, including Bricks & Motors and eCommerce business, monitoring market; including trends, technologies, products, and players.
  • Direct working experience with major U.S. retailers such as Target, Best Buy, and Costco is required.

Travel Requirement:

Ability to travel as required, estimated to be 40% traveling and 60% working in the office.
