We are excited to welcome a motivated Construction Scheduler to the Stahl team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping project success by developing, maintaining, and updating detailed construction schedules using tools such as MS Project. You will work closely with project managers and superintendents to evaluate project scope, sequence work, allocate resources, identify potential risks, and track progress—helping ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget while meeting Stahl’s high standards for quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule Development: Create detailed project schedules, including Critical Path Method (CPM) calculations, task sequencing, and milestone definition.
  • Progress Tracking: Regularly update schedules with actual progress, labor hours, and material deliveries.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential delays (e.g., weather, supply chain issues) and develop mitigation strategies and recovery schedules.
  • Collaboration: Work with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on project status, schedule variances, and performance against the baseline.
  • Change Management: Analyze the impact of change orders and re-sequence work as necessary.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain and protect company confidentiality.
  • Maintain open lines of effective communication and provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending appropriate training and updating licenses as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Contribute positively to the team by setting examples of professionalism, loyalty, conscientiousness, and dependability.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of MS Project, Bluebeam and Procore.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction methods, sequences, and building processes.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to manage complex, changing project environments.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating with field teams and management. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Education/Experience: Often requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, or significant field experience (3-7+ years).
