This role is entirely remote, enabling therapists to conduct sessions from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a structured professional workspace. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, incorporating initial evaluations that align with evidence-based practices.
• Formulate personalized treatment plans based on detailed analysis of clients’ issues, concerns, and therapeutic goals.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of clients of all age groups.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relationship dynamics.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans to effectively capture the clients’ ongoing progress and any shifts in their circumstances.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment histories.
• Proactively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and relevant healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate response to clients in acute distress.
• Commit to ongoing professional development, actively engaging in training opportunities to remain abreast of current methodologies and therapeutic best practices.
• Uphold a strong ethical framework, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all legal standards in therapy practice.
• Advocate for clients’ rights, fostering empowerment and informed decision-making regarding their mental health treatment.
• Encourage clients to embrace wellness and self-care practices that promote emotional and mental well-being.

The therapists in this role will work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and couples. Our client population presents an array of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma. Therapists will provide tailored interventions that respect the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, thereby enhancing therapeutic outcomes and client satisfaction.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a relevant field is essential.
• An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the State Board is a prerequisite.
• Experience in conducting therapy for individuals and/or couples across various age groups is required.
• Proficient writing and communication skills are vital for timely completion of client documentation and effective interaction with clients and their families.
• A familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred to ensure efficient management of client information.

• Two years of clinical experience working in a mental health setting is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience working with both children and adults is advantageous, especially in diverse cultural contexts.
