Your ability to coordinate the analysis, tracking, and documentation of engineering modifications to legacy systems and new system designs will make you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As a Configuration and Data Manager on our team, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Military to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR) and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to support a broad spectrum of CM functions, engaging with multiple performers and government organizations to aid in the delivery and sustainment of a complex system of systems. Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of remote sensing capabilities. You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) activities in space, ground, software, or hardware systems for Major Defense Acquisition Programs
  • Experience managing and facilitating Government Engineering Review Boards (ERB) and Configuration Control Boards (CCB) for handling change requests
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and reporting issues for the technical baseline and providing assessments and recommending solutions to resolve the issues
  • Experience managing program documents IAW government-directed control board actions, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Requirements Documents, or Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
  • Experience developing or maintaining a baseline repository of all configuration items, such as ICDs, Engineering Memos, Requirements Documents, or Spec Trees
  • Ability to understand and manage different change control processes between the vendors and government ERB or CCB
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience developing configuration management plans, processes, and charters
  • Experience with documentation and requirements configuration management
  • Experience with space-based remote sensing systems
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira or Confluence, and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 or 5000.02
  • Configuration Management Training Foundation (CMTF) CICM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
