Role and Accountabilities:
  • We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, with a particular focus on integration architecture, CMDB health and governance, and Active Directory/Exchange integrations.
  • The ideal candidate will be a deep subject matter expert in ServiceNow's capabilities, possessing a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
  • You will be instrumental in translating business requirements into scalable, robust, and secure ServiceNow designs.
  • Candidates will be experienced in leading ServiceNow engagements end to end, In addition, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
  • Lead the architectural design and development of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Define architectural patterns, blueprints, and roadmaps for ServiceNow integrations and CMDB.
  • Create detailed design documentation, including technical specifications, integration patterns, data models, and architectural diagrams.
  • Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems using a variety of methods, including Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, JDBC, etc.
  • Develop comprehensive integration strategies, patterns, and governance models.
  • Provide expert guidance on integration technologies, data mapping, transformation, and security.
  • Leverage ServiceNow Integration Hub spoke capabilities to streamline and automate integration processes.
  • Design and develop custom spokes as needed to meet unique integration requirements.
  • Establish best practices for Integration Hub usage and maintenance.
  • Architect and implement strategies for maintaining a healthy, accurate, and governed Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Define CMDB data models, CI class structures, relationships, and data sources.
  • Develop and implement CMDB governance policies, processes, and reporting mechanisms to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Oversee the implementation of Discovery, Service Mapping, and other CMDB population methods.
  • Design, implement, and optimize integrations with Active Directory for user provisioning, authentication, group management, and other identity-related services.
  • Architect and deploy integrations with Microsoft Exchange or other email platforms for incident creation, notification, and other workflow automation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and technical teams, providing expert guidance on ServiceNow capabilities and limitations.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers and administrators on technical best practices and architectural principles. Lead technical discussions, present solutions, and obtain consensus from diverse stakeholders.
  • Ensure designed solutions are performant, scalable, and resilient for enterprise-level usage.
  • Identify and mitigate potential architecture risks and performance bottlenecks. Stay current with new ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvements to existing ServiceNow implementations and architectural patterns.
  • Experience with Integration hub.
