What You Will Do

The Talent Partner for Operations is a specialized talent consultant with deep functional understanding who plays a central role in shaping and executing core talent management initiatives and leads a team of 2. Talent Partners own the servicing & triage of assigned client groups, ensuring HRBPs & leaders receive the right talent expertise at the right time.

Core Talent Management (60%):

  • Talent Strategy: partner with client group to define and drive execution

  • Talent Brokerage: ensure talent visibility, share opportunities, coordinate slating

  • Talent Reviews: prepare, support, and enable talent reviews, segmentation, and succession planning

  • HiPot Management: support high potential/top talent identification, development, and pipeline visibility

  • Talent Councils: prepare materials and insights for Collins & RTX talent councils

  • Ops Site Leader Development Program: lead ongoing strategy refresh and activation

  • Critical Roles & Talent: support critical roles/talent work & risk mitigation

  • Process Steward: speak to PI, IDP, mentorship, development, enterprise tools, etc.

  • Talent Actions: partner with HRBPs to activate critical talent actions

  • Advisor to RTX: feedback on talent management processes, technology & tools

Concierge Talent Support (30%):

  • Triage: Single point of contact who addresses talent inquiries or triages Talent COE services; understand business needs and escalate appropriately when needed

OE (10%):

  • OE Tool Familiarization: coach HRBPs on basic OE tools and vendors

  • Simple Facilitation Support: support HRBPs in preparing for simple team sessions (e.g. NLI) and facilitate limited interventions (e.g. assessments, SDI)

Travel:

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience

  • Experience in Human Resources as an HR Business Partner and/or in Talent Management

  • Experience communicating with senior leaders and executive stakeholders

  • Experience working in large, complex, global organizational environments

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Aerospace and Defense Industry experience is preferred

  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or Talent Management Partner within a matrixed organization

  • Previous HR experience supporting an Operations client group

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
