Job description

BLT is seeking an outgoing, customer service focused individual who enjoys making a difference in people's lives. The Concierge is a key member of the property management team. Plenty of opportunity to develop strong relationships and build your career! This is a part-time position located in Stamford

Description: The Concierge provides superior customer service, possesses detailed knowledge of company policy and procedures, and performs essential functions as they relate to the maintenance and accessibility of the building.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Concierge:

  • Oversees the provision of all services at the front desk of the luxury residential building
  • Promptly answers phone calls, requests, and concerns, while responding to all resident inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Assists residents with move-in and move-out procedures.
  • Warmly welcomes residents, guests, and vendors. Ensures that all visitors have been properly registered.
  • Adheres to emergency key procedures, manage key insurance policy, and control keyboard.
  • Provides and coordinates resident services including but not limited to: package handling, dry cleaning, event planning, local directions, and courtesy calls.
  • Additional tasks and clerical duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Hours available:  2:30pm-11:00pm 

Qualifications and Requirements of the Concierge:

  • 1+ year experience as a concierge, or 2+ years’ experience in a hospitality role
  • Must demonstrate commitment to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, and works with limited supervision.
  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or GED, College education preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to comply with regulations for accepting packages containing alcohol

Physical Requirements of the Concierge:

  • Must be able to lift and carry packages over 25 lbs on a regular basis. 
  • Ability the stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
