Packaging Exchange is looking for a Key Customer Service Representative to join our team and help impact our customers. A strong candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills. This role will focus on ensuring that we exceed our key customers’ expectations every day and on each order.
The Key Customer Service Representative will be a key team member assisting our sales and operations teams and customers in a variety of ways, while also connecting with and supporting surrounding facilities.
Essential Duties
● Develop and maintain trusting relationships with our customers
● Carry out various customer service activities, including responding to inquiries, processing orders, and handling complaints through to resolution
● Process and input all customer orders as required
● Process all customer billings on a daily basis
● Coordinates special and last minute shipping requests with the Operations Department, expediting any order as necessary
● Follow up with other locations and departments to ensure service standards are being met
● Provide shipping and tracking information to customers as required
● Communicate customer feedback to management, including opportunities for continuous improvement in service
● Assist Packaging Exchange’s sales team with pricing, inventory, and customer information requests
● Act as a liaison between the Operations and customers
Job Requirements & Qualifications
● High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
● 2+ years of customer service experience
● Packaging distribution experience is a strong plus
● Strong interpersonal & written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate to management, vendors, customers, etc.
● Results oriented, attention to detail
● Demonstrated ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
● Computer knowledge and skills to utilize MS Office as an effective management tool
