They translate artwork, logos, or concepts into digital embroidery files that can be used by embroidery machines to produce textiles, apparel, and accessories. These designers must have strong artistic skills, technical knowledge of embroidery software, and an understanding of fabric types and thread behavior. Working remotely allows them to collaborate with clients and manufacturers worldwide, often communicating designs and revisions electronically.

To thrive as a Remote Computer Embroidery Designer, you need strong artistic ability, proficiency in design principles, and experience with embroidery digitizing, typically supported by a relevant design background.
