General Summary:

The Senior Account Executive, DG Media Network, is responsible for stewarding media partnerships with Fortune 500 spanning Consumer Packaged Goods, bringing forward insights-based media opportunities that will help their clients meet DG shoppers along the path to purchase via the DGMN’s portfolio of digital media and in-store media solutions. This is an experienced media sales role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and fostering new Omni and National marketing stakeholder relationships as a Sales lead
  • Owning a vertical of business and driving the selling cycle (both directly and indirectly) with a portfolio of CPG clients including working with different groups that own advertising and marketing budgets, for example Shopper Marketing, Ecomm teams, Shopper
  • Agencies, National Agencies of Record, Digital Teams and fostering trusted relationships with leadership among all clients within their book
  • Identifying and bringing forward media opportunity using media, sales and shopper insights and tying those insights through to media activation opportunities to meet client KPIs
  • Forecasting and managing pipeline and setting right expectations to ensure proper pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Collaborating internally with a network of support functions including Product, Operations, Media Buyers, Media Planners, Insights, and Data Science to deliver the best of DGMN to our clients

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience “hunting” for new business and selling consultatively, with proven ability to deliver sales results
  • Experience managing a diverse sales book of business, inclusive of medium and large enterprise level accounts
  • Experience engaging with CPG clients across marketing verticals, including Ecomm, Trade, Shopper Marketing and Digital Media
  • Comfort interpreting closed-loop media measurement tying marketing to sales using retail data
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work autonomously to deliver against revenue goals & client objectives
  • Proven client leadership skills; ability to develop relationships and influence client plans
  • Analytical acumen using different data sources to make decisions; understand and optimize media campaigns
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to internally partner on behalf of the client

Work Experience &/or Education:

  • Bachelors' degree B.A. / B.S or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ Digital media and advertising experience ideally within the Agency or Retail Media space

**This role is remote. Compensation:

  • The base salary for this role is $120K - $145K annually.
  • This position is also eligible for an annual performancebased bonus and a quarterly commission plan, based on individual and/or business performance. Bonus and commission payments are variable and not guaranteed.

Travel is required for this role to advance client relationship
