Job description

Position: Mortgage Loan Processor
Location: Wichita, KS
Work Model: Remote
Compensation: $45,000–$50,000 base salary plus performance-based bonuses quarterly
Schedule: Standard business hours- in Pacific or Mountain Time Zone

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor with a strong background in specialty lending to support a growing operations team. This role requires someone who can confidently manage brokered a loans while maintaining accuracy, organization, and clear communication from submission through closing.
 
Responsibilities:
• Analyze loan files across Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Non-QM, Jumbo and state housing programs
• Review and verify income, assets, liabilities, and borrower documentation
• Update LOS with verified data and re-run AUS as needed
• Manage deadlines tied to contingencies, rate locks, and closing dates
• Conduct weekly pipeline meetings with Loan Officers
• Communicate clearly with borrowers, brokers, loan officers, and internal teams
• Submit complete, accurate files to underwriting
• Resolve suspended files and obtain missing documentation
• Coordinate appraisals, title, insurance, and verifications
• Ensure loans move efficiently and compliantly to closing
 
Requirements:
  • xperience as a mortgage processor in a broker or non-delegated environment
  • Strong background in purchase transactions
  • Experience working with investor portals such as UWM, Rocket, or similar
  • Knowledge of VA, FHA, and Conventional loan products
  • Strong income calculation and loan structuring skills
  • Experience using Arive LOS
  • Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, including handling escalations
