As a remote-based role within a community health clinic, this position offers the flexibility of working from home while remaining connected to a vibrant team of professionals. You will utilize teletherapy platforms to conduct sessions and maintain client engagement. Technical support and training in the use of telehealth tools will be provided to ensure you feel confident and efficient in delivering care from your remote setting. • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to understand their mental health history, concerns, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique needs and promote measurable progress.
• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share resources, and brainstorm ideas for improving service delivery.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay abreast of best practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using our electronic medical records system.
• Share feedback and innovative ideas to improve program effectiveness and patient outcomes.

In this role, you will serve a diverse and dynamic client population, representing various ages, backgrounds, and mental health concerns. Our clinic focuses on providing culturally competent care, ensuring that every client receives services tailored to their individual circumstances. You will have the opportunity to work with clients facing various challenges such as post-traumatic stress, relationship issues, adjustment disorders, and mood disorders, allowing you to adapt your therapeutic approaches to best meet their needs.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license/certification such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals with emotional and psychological challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and foster trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience using electronic medical records systems to document client encounters and treatment plans effectively.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and virtual counseling methodologies.
• Previous work in a community health setting is advantageous.
