We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team at Gotham Enterprises Ltd. This full-time position focuses on providing culturally sensitive mental health care within our outpatient psychiatry office located in Leesburg, Virginia. • Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to better understand each patient's unique circumstances and create individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are tailored to each patient’s cultural and personal background, drawing on techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on building resilience and improving mental health outcomes for our clients.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to the treatment of our clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, employing your skills to help clients navigate mental health emergencies effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can support their journey to well-being.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring all client interactions are thoroughly recorded.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions, contributing to a culture of learning and support.

• Stay updated on the latest developments in mental health research and best practices, particularly with a focus on cultural considerations in therapy.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia.

• Profound knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competency in therapy.

• Experience delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and composure in high-pressure scenarios.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a talent for fostering strong relationships with patients from different cultural backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.

• A commitment to maintaining ethical standards, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working alongside a multidisciplinary team.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for providing services to culturally diverse populations.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
