• Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship by building a positive, trusting rapport with clients to facilitate open communication.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and needs.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and methodologies to address a range of emotional and psychological issues.
• Regularly meet with clients to monitor progress, provide supportive counseling, and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Document client interactions and treatment plans meticulously to maintain accurate records and track progress over time.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refer clients to specialized services or additional support when necessary.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in mental health therapy and participate in continued education opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of each patient’s progress and actively work with them to achieve their therapeutic goals.

You will work with diverse populations, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Our client base often includes those dealing with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Understanding and addressing the unique needs of each demographic will be essential to your practice, as our goal is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all clients.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Proven knowledge of evidence-based practices applicable to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills with an ability to inspire and motivate clients through their therapeutic journeys.
• Strong collaborative skills, enabling effective teamwork with other healthcare professionals and supportive staff.

• Experience working with addiction counseling or familiarity with clients facing substance abuse challenges.
• Previous experience in a remote therapy role, demonstrating competency with virtual communication tools and methodologies.
• Experience working within a community health setting or similar healthcare environment.

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
