• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations of clients to ascertain their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement personalized treatment strategies based on clients' goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused techniques.
• Provide ongoing individual therapy sessions for adults through teletherapy, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.
• Respond to crisis situations with effective intervention strategies, guiding clients toward stability and safety.
• Engage in continuous professional development to remain informed of the latest trends and best practices in mental health treatment.

Our client base is diverse, consisting of adults facing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a mental health counselor at Harmony Haven, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe and supportive environment that encourages clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, ultimately leading to improved mental health outcomes.

• Must have a valid mental health license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.
• Demonstrated compassion, an empathetic approach, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients' experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time-management strategies are necessary for managing caseloads efficiently.
• The applicant must have no history of disciplinary actions against the professional license.

• Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with relevant technology platforms is highly advantageous.
• A background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Bringing experience working within community health settings will be beneficial in understanding client needs more deeply.
