Mindzen Psychiatry is seeking a committed, compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic team. • Deliver culturally-responsive psychotherapy tailored to individual needs in a diverse range of modalities, including individual therapy, group sessions, and couples counseling.
• Manage a diverse caseload, providing consistent therapeutic support while adhering to timely and thorough documentation of client interactions through our efficient electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches.
• Engage actively in team meetings that promote peer consultation and foster a collaborative atmosphere, improving client care through shared knowledge and experiences.
• Contribute creatively to the development of programs and culture within the clinic, utilizing feedback and insights to enhance the therapeutic environment.

Your client base will be richly varied, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, and those from underserved populations who face barriers to accessing mental health services. You will have the chance to connect with clients from a multitude of backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, ensuring that your therapeutic approach respects and validates their unique experiences and challenges.

• A current and active LPCC license in the state of California is essential.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, or equivalent pre-licensed experience with specialized populations.
• Deep understanding of DSM-5 diagnostics, ethical standards, and comprehensive clinical documentation practices.
• The ability to work independently and as an effective part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working with marginalized communities, particularly BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients is highly desirable.
• Specialized training in modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, crisis intervention, or substance use can enhance your candidacy.
• Demonstrated familiarity with teletherapy platforms and a commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance in all client interactions.

• Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside performance-based incentives related to caseload management.
