As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Rock Solid Counseling, you will engage in a variety of impactful activities, including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained using electronic health record systems.
• Participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share insights with healthcare professionals.
• Developing and implementing engaging therapeutic activities, such as group therapy sessions and recreational interventions, that promote mental health and wellbeing.
• Utilizing effective coaching models and teaching in natural environments to enhance clients’ understanding and strategies for managing their mental health.

You will be working with a diverse clientele that includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds facing a range of mental health challenges. To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A master's degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience working in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health records management.

While not mandatory, the following experiences would be advantageous:

• Experience working within a community health clinic or similar organizational structure.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and psychological assessment tools.
• Previous involvement in case management and coordination of care for clients with complex needs.
