• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health concerns to formulate appropriate clinical diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy options including individual, group, and family sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to the unique emotional and psychological needs of clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention services effectively, addressing acute mental health situations with prompt support and actionable strategies.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments, adhering strictly to ethical and legal guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to clients.
• Educate and empower clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment possibilities, and relevant community resources, advocating passionately for their rights and needs.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each facing unique challenges. The client population at Alameda Psychotherapy Services includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various life transitions. Your role will be crucial in establishing trust and rapport, which are essential for effective therapy engagement.

• Candidates must hold a current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling productive interactions with clients and team members alike.

• While a minimum of two years of related experience is required, candidates with a strong clinical background may be prioritized.
