Position Overview

Diamondback Health Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. The salary range for this role is USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to accurately diagnose clients’ mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the individual needs of each client.
• Maintain a full caseload of 25-30 client visits weekly, providing individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing both traditional and innovative therapeutic approaches.
• Document all client interactions, including assessments, treatment updates, and follow-ups, in accordance with company policy and industry standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, including case managers, medical professionals, and educational staff, to enhance the continuum of care.
• Utilize creative interventions and therapeutic techniques to help clients set and achieve their mental health goals.
• Actively engage in community outreach efforts to raise awareness about mental health resources available through Diamondback Health Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Through our tailored therapeutic services, you will help clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more. Your therapeutic contributions will play a vital role in not only improving individual outcomes but also enhancing the overall health of families and communities.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Washington.
• Proficiency in formulating detailed treatment plans, conducting diagnostic assessments, and writing clinical notes following session protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of fostering trusting relationships with clients and supporting team dynamics.
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients, ensuring professionalism in all interactions.
• Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability to meet varied mental health needs.
• Successful completion of a background check as part of the hiring process is required.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health setting, especially in delivering family therapy services or group therapy formats.
• Familiarity with mental health documentation and fee collection processes within a clinical setting.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families in therapeutic environments.
